Hello, my name is Anne.

I first learned to crochet when I was 10. I started with yarn making afghans. About 10 years ago I tried thread and made my first doily.

I became interested in tatting while I subscribed to the magazine, Workbasket. I saw the tatting patterns and had no idea what tatting was. I checked it out and found a book, some shuttles and size 10 thread. I was at the State Fair when the MN Lace Society was demonstrating and a member taught me how to tat.

I joined the MN Lace Society and learned how to do bobbin lace and knitted lace. I have taken several classes in bobbin lace and tatting.
